Young Kids at St Kitts for first time - Considering ferry to Nevis?

My wife has been to St Kitts before and she wants us to take the ferry to Nevis. I see that the dock is right next to where the cruise ship comes in, but where in nevis does it go? I'd like to try to find somewhere we could walk to instead of having to lug car seats on the ferry to a taxi. Any suggestions there?

Port: Charlestown

Walking?  There is only the Museum.

To see all of Nevis, best to take a private taxi tour.
Contact a local service to discuss all sight options, they will be happy to supply child seats.
