Zaandam Solar Eclipse Cruise March 30 ,2024

We are booked on this 14 night cruise .April 8  is the Eclipse of the Sun   to be seen from the ship .Question ,should HAL supply those cardboard Eclipse glasses to protect   every ones eyes ? or should we bring our own ?

I would bring my own.  Get them from a trusted source.

I still think that the most entertaining view is projecting using a colander onto an object.  Find videos on youtube.  You DO NOT look through the colander.

The arrow points to where the organization "Sky and Telescope" will have their private viewing area.  I think that is called the Sun Deck and is a large open area on the Zaandam.  This cruise is already heavily booked.  Most booking sites show just ocean views and insides available.
