Hoping to make the 8am water taxi to Caye Caulker. Our ship hopefully anchors at 8 (7am Belize) What’s your experience with getting to port early? We have FTTF (carnival) so hoping to make it.

Assuming your ship anchors on time and is cleared, tenders may start at 8:30 ship time, but could be 9AM ship time.  Then the ride to the tender pier is 15-20 minutes, depending on how far out you anchored.  It's a 5 minute walk from pier to watertaxi .

The key is even with FTTF you need to be at the location the ship tells for tender meetup as early as possible. Preferably before others.  They may assign numbers your party needs to be within the first 100 to ensure a seat on the first tender.
