I completely agree that a 30 days to check on the change is not acceptable.  Most changes could be done electronically and automatically - just like the airlines.  Why can't FBC tell you what happened? 

Except for weather - those changes are always last minute - about 95% of changes are the times for takeoff or landing.  Most of those are 10 minutes or less.  Last month had NINE changes on our AA flights from FLL to Arizona.   None more than 10 minutes +/-.  Took a day or more to get notification from FBC.  We were already home before we received the last 5 changes.  Got every tiny change instantly from the airline.

I'm not sure it's as absolute as implied, these are general guidelines.  It's disingenuous to think FBC could snap their fingers and instantly resolve all adjustments necessitated by airline schedule changes.  There are probably many issues involved (financial, logistical, etc.).

30 days is a far cry from “snap your fingers”.
