ksmommy5 Posted February 8, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 8, 2023 Headed to Paris May 15 for one night via London. Prices right now are absurd. When should I book? I understand the earlier, the better....but this train ticket is more than my 4 nights in London lol
freaky_82 Posted February 8, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 8, 2023 I checked prices at eurostar.fr and it looks like the usual price to me. 135€ for an early morning train on the 15 of May and a return on the last train on the 16th. Are those the prices you see too? They sometimes run specials, but I don't think that prices will get better than that.
CruiserBruce Posted February 8, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2023 Are you looking at the official website? What do you consider "absurd" and what you think the price should be?
Rare John Bull Posted February 8, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 8, 2023 On 15th May I'm seeing £39 to £94 depending on time. Same for return on 16th May Prices are fluid based on how far out and how many tickets already booked https://www.eurostar.com/uk-en JB 🙂

I was exaggerating obviously lol I bit the bullet and just bought the tickets. Leaving London at 6am. Good thing my hotel is across the street. staying at Jesmond Dene and and OYO. I got the tickets for 208$ USD for 2 ppl. I’m just taken aback at the cost is all. But, it’s just money! All about the experience!
Lutèce Posted February 10, 2023 #7 Share Posted February 10, 2023 I hope I'm completely wrong, but where exactly have you found the OYO hotel in Paris? The only hotel I have found with both OYO and Paris in the name is in Mumbai. OYO is a chain of Indian-owned hotels.
