"According to the study, these overall program costs for providing housing and services in an emergency shelter setting can vary widely, from $581 a month for an individual in Des Moines, IA, to as high as $3,530 for a family in Washington, DC." Those in D.C. can get suites. That's more a commentary on how inefficiently those "housing and services" funds are used as it is anything else

Although it’s MSC so that could explain it. lol But the other lines we cruise with don’t have different websites for US, Canada, UK etc. Most we use do have different sites with different prices and packages, we check for best overall deal when we can be bothered. (They may hide behind a common URL) Celebrity, RCI NCL, are usually easy direct or TA. Princess make it a bit harder. UK/EU have protection with package regulations that apply to all cruise bookings which can be handy as it stops some cruise lines dodgy changes as you can get refunds and losses covered. I'd put both of them above Princess without a thought. I can still remember the dresser in our suite on the Caribbean Princess... out of the 4 drawers, there were three different styles of pulls - whatever they could MacGyver together as they broke over the years. First impression was enough to keep us away for well over a decade now! Having Sailed Celebrity last summer, they are a mainstream line. Nothing special. The term "mainstream" cruise line casts a wide net. From my multiple sailings with them, let's just say that Celebrity is a "higher tier" mainstream line compared to, for example, Carnival. Granted, all lines have their pros and cons. (Below list care of Cruise Critic) List of Mainstream Cruise Lines Carnival Cruise Line Celebrity Cruises Costa Cruises Cunard Line Disney Cruise Line Holland America Line MSC Cruises Norwegian Cruise Line Princess Cruises Royal Caribbean International Case in point, these images are from the casino on the Mardi Gras (thanks @IntrepidFromDC, only in service about 1.5 years. I don't think I've ever seen anything like this on Celebrity! They should REALLY be embarrassed having these out there for use...

Brighton Line Posted February 15, 2023 #107 Share Posted February 15, 2023 Mainstream, not Mass Market. Cunard is not a mass market line even though they are owned by the parent company of a Mass Market Line(s). MSC is looking to get a market share of the Mass Market of RCL/NCL/Carnival in the United States
