Sirena A1 Aft Balcony Veranda or a PH?

My wife and I will be taking a Caribbean cruise next winter on Sirena. I can't decide between and A1 room with a balcony on the stern, or a PH. The difference in price is not a factor. Which would you take, the A1 with the balcony on the back, but a smaller room, or the PH larger room with balcony on the side?

Depends how much being able to sit and watch the Wake means to you.  The penthouse cabin layouts on the small ships are much nicer than balcony or concierge cabins but that view is special.

6090 and 6093 which are A2 have slightly deeper balconies than the aft A1s on Deck 7 and 8.

The aft balconies have 2 lounge chairs in addition to the regular chairs and small table.  If you enjoy the privacy of your own outdoor space, the extra large balcony is a bonus.  We love these rooms for that reason.  However, the baths in this category are very small, especially the shower.  They are perfectly functional but inferior to the PH bath.

Having tried both concierge and PH, we now go for the PH.  We prefer the extra room of the PH.  We don't have an affinity for staring at the wake, and enjoy watching the coastlines when arriving and departing from the port, and the water passing by from the side balconies.

We enjoy the in room dining option from any specialty restaurant so would always book a PH if available.   The aft A1 cabin is tempting however.  We do enjoy watching departing from port at the Terrace Cafe.
