topshotta Posted March 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2006 Are sandals allowed in the dining room as opposed to shoes?
johnql Posted March 9, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 9, 2006 Other than bare feet, I don't believe there are any footwear restrictions.
newmexicoNita Posted March 9, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 9, 2006 They are, but I don't know if my DH would wear them. I think top sider type of shoe would look a little better especially in the specialy dining rooms where everything is rather upscale. I hope I don't start that old debate on how to dress. I just think these restaurants are special and it is more acceptable to dress a little special. NMnita

newmexicoNita Posted March 9, 2006 #6 Share Posted March 9, 2006 What is DH? Just one of the many abbreviations us vets use: DH-dear husband DD-dear daughter, etc: SIL-son in law and so forth. Of course DH could be designated hitter or double header as well, if you are a baseball fan. lOL
