Is Great Bay still polluted with sewage?

A few years ago I read a lot about NOT swimming at Great Bay because of sewage pollution. Is this still the case?

I have tried searching for recent information but most things I find are older.

 

We want to go for a beach walk, and would love to jump in if safe to do so, but do not want to play in the water if it is is filled with bacteria.

Without any recent confirmation the sewage problem is fully 100% resolved, one should err on the side of caution.  Suggest one continues the walk into Little Divi and take a dip there.
