Can non-refundable OBC be used to pre-pay gratuities?

We are getting back to Celebrity after a long time. Many things have changed.

 

We'd like to pre-pay gratuities for our upcoming Summit cruise. Can we use our non-refundable OBC to do this?

To have one more thing to take care off before the cruise. It helps to plan better for the spending during the cruise.

Actually OBC-N is available in your cruise planner prior to sailing but your answer No is correct as you can not pre-pay gratuities via the cruise planner.  That would be a nice option.

 

OBC-R (refundable typically from TA) is available shortly after boarding and can not be used for cruise planner purchases.

I meant for gratuities it is not available.

That is not correct information.  The only time it is not available is if it is from a travel agent.  Yes, OBC can be used for tips.
