tony s Posted February 19, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2023 We just booked balcony and were given 4014 for October 2023. Does anyone know where it is and if anything we should be aware of such as location?
Host Hattie Posted February 19, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2023 It's quite a long way forward so you might get noise from the bow thrusters when docking and the theatre during performances and rehearsals. On the other hand these balconies are much bigger than those on higher decks although this one will have a metal front. There's a link to a photograph of a Deck 4 balcony in this thread.

Host Hattie Posted February 19, 2023 #5 Share Posted February 19, 2023 It will be very similar, the deck plans of the 2 ships are almost the same. 1

As Hattie says, seems to have a good depth of balcony. https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/deckbydeck.php?ship=Queen-Elizabeth&deck=4 Edited February 21, 2023 by buchanan101
Rare Host Sharon Posted February 21, 2023 #7 Share Posted February 21, 2023 I had 4001 on one cruise and it was horrendous on one night. The corridor past these cabins lead to a crew area and there was a party into the very small hours. I don't mind the party per se but the constant letting the door slam and the noise through it when opened drove me mad. Otherwise, the cabin was great. 1
Host Hattie Posted February 21, 2023 #8 Share Posted February 21, 2023 Until you mentioned that I'd forgotten that we used to meet a lot of crew and some contractors in the corridor on Deck 4. 4014 was far enough away not to be disturbed by parties or slamming doors fortunately. 1
