Alaska May 18-25

Anyone else booked on this date?  We are Lee and Rae from Arizona and looking forward to getting away since we stopped going on any cruises since the pandemic hit.  This will be our 5th time cruising to beautiful Alaska.  Never sailed on the Luminosa before.

I will be on the ship with my friend. My husband and I have already been to Alaska once and he didn't want to go so I am going with my good friend.

My wife and I will be onboard as well.  This will be our 4th Alaskan cruise, with the 3 previous ones being sailed with Princess.  We got a very good casino offer for this cruise of $100 pp for a balcony cabin and couldn't resist.  We also get to sail on a new ship (for us) which is always fun. 🙂

Yep, May 4th is earliest check in.

I am going on this cruise...this is my first cruise ever and I am anxiously waiting....not sure what to expect...does anyone know if I need to bring fancy dress clothes to eat?  Do they have a microwave in the rooms or onboard to use?  I am hoping to meet some new friends and to have fun

Nice!  I bet you'll have a blast.

 

Nothing super fancy for dressing up.  There will be two "Cruise Elegant Nights" where some people choose to dress up.  On Carnival, especially on an Alaskan cruise, this really doesn't mean much.  I usually wear a button up shirt, no tie, and kaki pants and that's more than enough.  However, there will be a few folks dressed to the nines, if that's your thing.  Maybe have some pictures taken since there will be plenty of photographers.

 

No microwaves for passenger use. But, there is plenty of warm food to be had at most hours, including 24-hour room service (for a small fee).
