Ovation Suite 909

We have just booked suite 909 but now I’m having second thoughts about the location.

 

From memory, I thought the Captain”s suite was approximately above ours. But now I’m wondering what is exactly above us and I’m concerned about any potential noise issues. 
 

Has anyone any experience of this suite or ones close by?

Hi Ceepot,

 

Based on the stairs and elevator location are I believe it is the the ship offices for the bridge. Basically a hallway of offices right behind the bridge.  Last month we had a bridge tour on Ovation and we walked through that area.   Pretty certain that is the space above 909.  I wouldn’t imagine it to be loud my only though is this may have more movement as it is close to the front of the ship.

We will be on a Med cruise so I’m not anticipating much movement so I will stick with my selection.

I have had my worst sea sickness in the Med 🤢

Last year we were in 911 on the Ovation for two weeks and I would not sail in that location again.  Quite a bit of noise late at night above us in the crew/officer quarters.  Also, lots of motion being so far forward.  However, Seabourn square is generous with seasick pills!
