Costa vs. MSC and MSC vs. Costa.

I've done threads on the topic, both on this forum and on the Costa forum, back when I had a Costa cruise booked (cancelled it due to covid a couple of years back).  But I thought these fellows did a decent job on the subject.  While I haven't sailed on Costa yet, I generally agree with their assessment of MSC.

I really want to sail Costa, the only mainstream line I have not tried yet. People say the food is better there.

I sense that in some ways, perhaps like MSC in some ways, they may have gotten a bad rap.  I had an amazing price for a Costa cruise out of "Venice" during Covid Days, but had to cancel it because the pandemic was still pretty much raging at that point.  But sure, I'd try Costa if the price and timing were right.

Not loving the balcony smoking thing though.
