Biscayne Bay - Doubletree or Marriott??

We're cruising out of Miami this summer and decided to stay in the Biscayne Bay area.

Doubletree has large rooms, but the recent reviews on TripAdvisor are really bad.

Marriott is more expensive, has slightly better reviews but smaller rooms. 

Which would you choose???

I don't travel to Miami on business anymore, but when I did, I always stayed at the Doubletree and never had a bad experience.  Take those reviews with a big grain of salt on your margarita glass!

We always stay at the doubletree. I believe you can get a balcony with a view of the port from both hotels , love all the bars , restaurants and stores in lobby area.
