Onboard talks on Alaska Cruise on the Volendam

Was wondering if they have port talks on ship before a port, immersion or something?

Yes.  Info on shopping and places to visit.  Getting an Alaska guidebook - available from almost any library- helped us on our first cruise far more than thevon board discussions.

Thank you for the information! We did get a good cruise excursion book, but it wasn't as deep as I wanted for those ports we were going to be stopping at as they covered all ports.
