From what I recall, it was sheltered front to back (bow to stern) and had some bleachers. The sides were not fully enclosed, but kinda sheltered .... Generally, I don't think wind was an issue if that helps.
Rare mahdnc Posted June 12, 2023 Author #77 Share Posted June 12, 2023 This article on Pickleball was published in today's Wall Street Journal website. Pickleball on cruise ships was briefly mentioned but it is not the focus of the article. dnhill Posted January 23 #78 Share Posted January 23 Pickleball on Celebrity Eclipse is played on the SportCourt that is at the front of the ship. There is no space between the baseline and the net surrounding the court. The wind is terrible and makes playing almost unplayable while under way. There were quite a few that showed up on the first day, and almost all the experienced players gave up and didn't play again. I have cruised Royal and Celebrity about half and half. On the Eclipse, the court does not work well unless in port and it's not windy.
Rare NMTraveller Posted January 24 #79 Share Posted January 24 I did not see a Pickleball court on the Millenium. Is there one?
