Are upgrades billed thru Princess?

I have done them on NCL & Celebrity and it was billed separately.

I did an upgrade for my March 26th Ruby cruise & won it for $50.

I just got a bill today from Princess for $50.

Obviously I've been PIF for some time!

Is that how Princess does it?

Good Luck

My booking is a Casino Promotion offer.  In these offers you have to pay for the cruise in full at the time of the booking, which we did last July.

I received an email this morning that my bid for $80 to go from Balcony BE to a Deluxe Balcony DE was accepted.  My husband wanted a sofa in the cabin.  I had also tried to upgrade to premium balcony and a mini suite, both of those show expired.

I went on our personalizer to pay and could not find anywhere I am suppose to pay.  I checked my credit card to see if they had automatically charged my card - they did not.

I get on the phone and call Princess and I went around and around.  I finally hung up and called the casino department and it sent me back to the regular reservations and I had to have her transfer me back to the casino department.   I paid the $80 thru them, but they had no idea what I was talking about when I told them that their website said that I could pay on the personalizer, or it would be automatically billed to my credit card.

One had does not know what the other hand is doing.
