Day passes at the Sheraton

Has anyone been able to walk off the ship and buy day passes at the Sheraton?

There are two cruise terminals, Old San Juan, which is used primarily  for port calls and sometimes as a homeport (by Carnival IIRC), and Pan American, which is used  as a homeport primarily by NCL, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity , and generally only used for port calls if Old San Juan is full.

 

There's a Sheraton close to each. In Old San Juan it's right across the street from the cruise piers. The Sheraton near Pan American terminal is about a mile from that cruise terminal.

 

Neither hotel is on or near a beach, if that's what you're looking for, and I doubt if there's much of a need or demand for either to offer day passes because of that.

I appreciate your response.

However, the Sheraton on Convention  Boulevard offers pool day passes through ResortPass. My reluctance in booking is that it will be raining on the day that we’re in port.

That's the Sheraton hotel near Pan American cruise terminal, and you're virtually certain to be docking at Old San Juan on your port call. 

You'll have to take a taxi to get there...it's about 2.5 miles from the Old San Juan piers.

Perhaps you can call them to find out if they sell day passes directly at the hotel.
