Time needed for Quebec airport from cruise ship

I will be on the Norwegian Joy early October and we overnight in Quebec before disembarkation on Wednesday. I'm guessing we can self disembark to get to the airport early but what would be a reasonable length of time? It seems the flights from Quebec to Detroit or Chicago are either very early or very late (and long!).

Correct-- once the ship clears immigration the day before (of arrival) you'll be able to come and go as you please and leave at any time the next morning. 

 

The airport is about 25 minutes away but I would budget 30-40 minutes just in case there is traffic if you are going during the morning rush.
