Godfather Villages and Taormina excursion

Hi, could anyone who has been on this excursion tell me how long you spend in Taormina. I have been to Taormina before and would love to revisit but maybe combined with visiting other places!

We visited Taomina in 2019 it peed down all day and then there was a big crash on the motorway that held u departure as 5 coaches held up by it including ours, glad we did a Marella excursion that day lol 😆 

We visited the amphitheatre then had free time in Taiomina and then a scenic coast ride until we hit aforementioned traffic issue.

Oh dear, doesn't sound as if you had a good day.  Taormina is so beautiful as well but best seen in the sunshine. Sounds as if this excursion was just Taormina.  The excursion I am looking at involves visiting three villages including Taormina. Thank you for your response.
