AK Dreaming Posted April 6, 2023 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2023 We were booked on the 8:30 AM White Pass excursion. When I checked my reservations today it said 10:00 am. I called NCL and they said the 8:30 AM was cancelled and they moved us to the 10:00AM with out notifying us. We have another excursion booked with a different company which we may or may not make. The train excusion is 10:00AM and 2 3/4 hours and we are supposed to meet our next tour on the pier at 1:45PM. Anyone with experience getting off the train and to the pier, please advise how long it takes.

If taking photos from the train, go to the platform between the cars to avoid the glare caused by the car windows.
Glaciers Posted April 6, 2023 #3 Share Posted April 6, 2023 When we've booked the train through the cruise line site the train pick up near the dock. Before the slide at the Railroad Dock the train pulled up very near the ship although have to think that's changed. From the Broadway dock, the train pulls up at the end of the dock for easy boarding. When we've booked through direct through WPYR we walked into town and caught the train from their facility. JT1962 Posted April 11, 2023 #4 Share Posted April 11, 2023 This situation could affect the time in port for larger ships using the Railroad Dock: https://khns.org/rock-throws-wrench-into-cruise-ship-docking-schedule
