MSC Fantasia After April 8, 2024?

The MSC World Europa appears to begin sailing the itinerary that the MSC Fantasia was sailing up to April 2024. Nothing is on the website for booking the MSC Fantasia after April 8, 2024. We are hoping to sail on the MSC Divina in September plus another MSC cruise before returning to the US on a Transatlantic cruise in October. Right now we are leaning towards the MSC Grandiosa for the 2nd cruise but enjoy the Fantasia-class ships. Anyone know any plans?

Loads of possibilities. Perhaps an extended drydock for refit? Cruising out Kiel for Norway/Baltics again? Maybe join Bellissima in Asia for expanded itineraries? Replace Divina in Miami after MSC opens the new cruise port? Maybe she will head up new itineraries for MSC - Alaska; Mexican Riviera; Hawaii.

You will enjoy Grandiosa much more than Fantasia or Preziosa.

What a difference two months make! We have decided on a Transatlantic that is departing Civitavecchia one month later so that has affected our choices of available MSC cruises. The Grandiosa will be on it's next season deployment by that time. No definite choice made yet but we are 95% planning on the 8-Night Divina followed by the 11-Night Poesia. But ... I am still curious as to what is planned for the Fantasia.

Fantasia had several port bookings in Bergen and some other Norwegian ports for 2024 but they removed all calls there 5-6 weeks ago. The weird thing is, that the Fantasia is well booked this year, almost all Northern Europe cruises of her are sold out. That's why I don't understand why they should remove the second ship from Kiel. But let's wait and see..

MSC had changed Virtuosa sailings to the fjords due to "port congestion", so I'm assuming MSC was crowded out of some of their Norway cruises by competitors and/or by ports limiting traffic. Would the same have impacted the Fantasia?

Norway is hard limiting cruising these days over ecological reasons, and there are port congestion eventually elsewhere, yes.

As per ship deployment it would to be wonderful for a Lisbon's better than Musica class vessel for the usual summer southern Med 10 nighters loops, but little hope...
