Celebrity Flights - cruise leaves from Trieste

Hi All - does anyone have experience with Celebrity Air? Specifically when the cruise departs from Trieste and coming from Phila, PA, United States.

Wondering where they do flights into? Will it be Trieste? or will it be Venice (which is 2 hours away)?

TIA

Given there is a direct flight on United - Philadelphia to Venice, my guess is that your chances are pretty good to be assigned to that flight - at least for the outbound segment.

Ronchi dei Legionnari is a smaller regional airport with connections to Rome, Milan, Frankfurt, Munich, and possibly still Vienna.

You basically can look up flights from any airport to any airport using Celebrity air's website or phone as long as the flights will get you to the cruise. For example, if you are sailing out of Southhampton, England, you could put Heathrow, but you could also put Paris if you want to fly in a few days early and stay in Paris. Play around with the Flights by Celebrity website to see what makes the most sense for your schedule, the cost, and the timing of flights that Celebrity can offer.

What cruise leaves from Trieste? 🤔
The only cruise Celebrity has that stop in Trieste start in Ravenna

That was my thought too, HAL cruises from Trieste. Last year we sailed from there with HAL and there was a huge difference in cost to fly to Venice from the US over flying directly to Trieste, the difference was about $500pp.

Check your itinerary. Appears you may have gotten your cruise line confused? Trieste is not a Celebrity embarkation port. Flights by Celebrity does not 'assign' your flights. You can essentially choose anything available. There are also no nonstop flights from the US to Trieste so that will not be an option regardless of which cruise line you choose.

Does it matter? I’m trying to be helpful to the OP, even if they are mistaken about the cruise line

Actually it does if they are trying to book FBC and are cruising with another cruiseline.

To the OP, remember FBC is NOT a travel agent.  They are a consolidator,  so do the following: check out flights on your own using a search engine FIRST, then price what you found and see what FBC has to offer.  Change rules can be difficult if booked with the airline, but almost impossible with FBC.  FBC also can take literally days to return a call.

Last, definitely fly in a day or two early and try to avoid Heathrow.
