Rare aring75 Posted April 28, 2023 Author #401 Share Posted April 28, 2023 Of course we started with margaritas, chips, salsa, and guacamole. They have a mango margarita with chile salt. I could not say no to this. They automatically bring the chips and salsa, but I had to order the freshly made guac. I cannot help myself. (I blame the margarita.)
Rare aring75 Posted April 28, 2023 Author #402 Share Posted April 28, 2023 Mark decided on enchiladas verdes. There was one each of chicken, cheese, and beef. I had the the shredded beef burritos. There were red and green peppers and onions cooked in with the beef.
Rare aring75 Posted April 28, 2023 Author #403 Share Posted April 28, 2023 It’s pretty easy to find your way back to the ship. Just look for the huge Mexican flag which flies in the port area.

There are nicely maintained, pedestrian-friendly walkways and the downtown area is around 1/2 mile (maybe a little less) from the intersection at the wharf. MOXI (Museum of Exploration and Innovation) is along State Street, the main road to downtown. Admission was $18 adult/$14 child and the reviews are pretty great. great pics.. we loved this port!

Really appreciative of your informative post. Also a bit ago had a terrific burger and fries at the Mast Grill. As people that don't like to be in direct sunlight too much, we're loving the amount of nice shaded seating with nice ocean views on this ship! That's something we find lacking on a lot of other ships. Especially our most recent one, the Carnival Panorama. For a ship called the Panorama the views from the ship were underwhelming. So far very impressed with the Solstice for nice seating areas, really cool bars, and so far really good food. It also so far doesn't feel very crowded at all. Does anyone know if we're full capacity? We were told 2300, so not full.
