Celebrity Edge at full capacity.

We have sailed on the Edge previously but it was only 60% full.

Has anyone sailed on the edge at full capacity ? Wondering if it felt crowded in any parts of the ship on sea days.

We got off the Edge last month.  We sailed the Apex last year at 50% full.

 

It did feel much more crowded.  Trying to get a seat at the Martini Bar was impossible and there were not too many of the other seats available either.  And this was starting at 4:30 PM.  We kind of had to time it between dinner seatings.

 

The outdoor pool at times was wall to wall people.  But we managed to find lounge chairs around.  Maybe not in prime locations but we could find some.

We have sailed on the Edge when it was full and it didn’t seem any more crowded than a S class ship.

I’ve sailed on Edge both pre and post Covid.  While pre was 100% and post was about 35-40% capacity, both trips were excellent.  I didn’t let the extra passengers crowd me.

When we sailed it was around 85% but the ship never really felt crowded.  Maybe tough to get a chair by the pool on sea days but that was about it.

It was really crowded at lunch time in the buffet.  Lines for food and service was lacking.  So busy that I left and came back to eat around 1:30ish. Then we had a relaxing lunch.
