Pullmantur brand name auctioned off.

As we've discussed, a few years back there was a serious effort to "re-float" Pullmantur cruises, figuratively speaking.  But the hit from covid was just too severe, and instead the cruise line liquidated.

Recently, they put the last remaining asset of the former cruise line up for auction, which is the Pullmantur brand name itself.  Starting bid was set at 177,000 Euros, but I don't know how the bidding went.  Apparently they are expected to close the books on their bankruptcy liquidation this month.

Sad, as the cruise line did satisfy a niche with value-oriented cruises on older ships, but alas the damage from covid was too much to overcome.
