Ducking of the Wench in St. George's resumes May 1

The Town Crier has posted on social media that on Monday May 1st and each Monday, Wednesday and Thursday through October, the Gossiping Nagging Wench will be Ducked  at Ordnance Island, St George’s, at 1:00 PM

  Anyone looking for something to do while in Bermuda, this is one of the funniest performances you'll ever see. Well worth the trip. A lot of audience participation. And the ferry ride over on The Spirit of St. Georges, (NCLs free high speed ferry), is also a blast. Enjoy!!

We have one day planned to see Hamilton and St George and we are scheduled to do the Town Crier tour in Hamilton at 10:30. Do we have enough time to get to St George after the tour to see this?  The tour is scheduled to go until 12:15.

A taxi takes 35 to 45 minutes from Hamilton to St. George. A bus takes about an hour. In the past they started the reenactment around 12:30. The actual Ducking was at 1:00. They might duck her twice but it will be over pretty fast.

I keep trying to tell my phone its never ducking....Oh wait wrong auto-correct
