Luggage storage in cabin?

I assume that this is a common question, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. We are sailing on ms Rotterdam in a Veranda cabin. Is there space under the bed for two large suitcases? If not, where do you keep the empty bags?

I've been on the Koningsdam and the Nieuw Statendam which are sister ships to the Rotterdam and we had plenty of room under the bed for our suitcases.

Here are the dimensions of a typical HAL bed - not all verandah cabins are exactly the same, but most are.  If you have one with an adjoining door or is ADA compliant it will be different.    The Koningsdam is almost identical to the Rotterdam
