Virgin cruises - Valiant - X-Ray in ports at re-Embarkation

Does anyone know what type of xray / scanner the Virgin Valiant ship uses for re-embarkation for bags and individuals?

I'm assuming they use the full x-ray machine for bags.

Do they use an x-ray machine for people as well, or is it just an metal detector you walked through like in the airport?

For people, walk thru....if it doesn't make noise, you are clear.  For bags, looks like a typical airport scanner.  Interestingly, the person operating it told us that they were getting another type soon...whatever that means.  THis was in response to my remark when she was looking at the "medical bsg" that the metal was my daughter's braces.

I wonder if they are switching to what Disney is using where you want though with everything in your pockets.

Only walk through metal detectors used for people in Miami. Bags go through x-ray.

Where on earth have you been traveling where they routinely X-Ray people??????

 I don't think the people machine is an x-ray.  I think (but could be wrong) that it is a metal detector,

Yeah, regularly exposing the human body to x-rays would kinda be a big no-no!😆

There is the millimeter wave scanners at airports.  I have to use them all the time due to the metal in my body.  Usually at port they just hand scan with a metal detector and it will go off at all my artificial joints.
