My Dh says I am a "Sicko"

Does anyone eles have this same problem...He says I am a sicko because I am always on these boards, but he will thank me when I am the most informed DW he has ever seen when we get on that ship..Right??

Actually, you are definately NOT alone! My kids think I've lost my mind, but I want to get as much info as possible before we sail! So I am always on the boards.

Yes, you are definitely a sicko! I can't imagine spending so much time on these boards! (yeah right) You are definitely not alone. If I had a dollar for every time I check the boards, I'd be able to cruise much more often.

I too am a Sicko. Since I'm group leader of our cruise next year, I'm on the boards now doing some research. Don't ya love planning a cruise

I am right along with all of you...My hubby and my kids think I am SICK!!! I even check the boards from work. I spend most of my computer time doing "research" or at least that is what I tell everyone

I;ve only been on the boards a couple days. But I think I;ve reached sicko level. Especially since I am a 20 year old guy, my girlfriend thinks I am nuts.

my wife calls me a sicko too, but not because I read these boards. I'm not sure, but I think it has something to do with mirrored glasses and the funnel deck

 

but seriously, she's pretty darn happy I did "research" our first cruise. in the first place I saved us a bunch of money, got us upgraded to a cat 11, had all our shore excursions planned, and last but not leasst, we met the most wonderful people as part of the Cruisin' KRAZY Caribe Crew all thanks to these boards. If that makes me a sicko, well I don't want to be cured!

Here's another "sicko" to join up. My daughter and DH think I'm addicted, too........I sometimes have to negotiate with my daughter to get my time on the computer, just to check out the boards. But, I've gotten so much helpful information from just reading the varied posts. I WILL be prepared and have our excursions planned and booked.

I am laughing so hard at all of your posts! I am so glad tht I am not alone!! My DH called me a sicko when we were planning our Disney World trip also until we got there and I had everything planned out so perfectly. He then said how glad he was that he married a sicko because I saved us so much time and money at Disney because time is money there...lol I also landed us a great shipboard credit from reading these boards and again, he had to thank me...He will learn some day that it pays to be married to a sicko. Fellow sickos unite..

That would be great! Do you think Carnival would list it in the capers like the "Friends of Bill W." meetings? We could be the C.C. Sickos.

sign me up as a fellow "sicko"....oh, well, it is nice to know that I am not the only one! My DH thought that when we got back from our first cruise that I would be done with the boards but I just booked another cruise and when we got back from that one, I booked TWO more and still have another one planned already!

Me too - although I think we could come up with a better name for it. Not only do I come here several times a day, I print out all the stuff I need and make small books out of them (and with Marks reviews they are indeed books) for reading while we are just sitting around. My DH was amazed at how I knew just where to go and what to do on our cruise last October.

I admit it. I am a fellow addict and totally drunk with knowledge! On our last cruise we were in a cab to get to the ferry to go over to St John when another couple mentioned they planned on doing that later in the day. When they saw I had a piece of paper with all the ferry times they ditched the island tour they were going to go on with the cab driver (after he dropped us off at the ferry) and came with us!

I think I qualify as a sicko, but my husband doesn't say a thing. He just rollllls his eyes. Of course, he doesn't complain since I plan all our cruises, make hotel and air arrangements and pack his suitcase!
