AmaWaterways Hotels in Paris

Does anyone know the hotels Ama is currently using in Paris? Only thing I could find from previous postings was way before COVID. Thanks. Looking at doing my own pre-cruise and meeting up to get transportation to the boat in Luxembourg.

You definitely would need to call ama about this. It sounds like you want to take the tail end of the pre-cruise which, and I just talked to the cruise director that is with us in Brasov and neither she or I think they are going to be open to letting you do this 
 

none of their “pre-cruise” days are just a taxi to the port there is always a stop or two on the way with a guided activity. 
 

the “night before flying back” hotel last year was the Pullman at cdg.

My travel agent said her colleague said AMA had done this in the past. Not a deal killer. Just looking at where we are going to stay and thinking about getting to another hotel in Paris if we had to meet a group.

Well again, I’m not associated with ama or any travel agency which is why I asked her. She had heard of a similar, in a way story where someone had booked the same hotels as the post in Switzerland and just wanted to ride between the cities. In the end that guest bought the post extension (while on the cruise!) and canceled their own reservations. 
 

call them, the worst they can say is no. 
 

considering my usual tendency to want to just go to sleep when I get off the plane I’ve wondered myself if they would arrange a transfer from a hotel rather than the airport. It hasn’t come up yet

Given the high prices of cruise line extensions [charging the same per person as the hotel would charge for both people in the room], you can easily book a private transfer and still come out ahead.
