mattR Posted May 12, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 12, 2023 My son would like to do some flyboarding when we are in LA before or after our short cruise out of LA. I can't seem to find anyone who offers this in the LA area? I found a place down in San Diego but would rather not drive that far. Do most/any of the beaches offer water activities such as kayaks/paddle boards/seado's? He really wants to try kitesurfing but I think you have to take a course before you can do that correct? KeepCalmBearOn Posted May 12, 2023 #2 Share Posted May 12, 2023 Most beaches would NOT offer kayaks, paddle boards and certainly not jet skis. Those are things you'd find in enclosed water ways like Marina del Rey, Newport Harbor, San Diego Bay, Mission Bay, etc. The beaches are too crowded to mix those items with people. You can rent surfboards and boogie boards at select ocean beach area.
