Upgrade Question

I am fully paid on a 12 night cruise from Yokohama, Japan to Singapore in November. I have two connecting staterooms on the millennium at deck 8.

So supposing if I were wish to upgrade to aqua sky suite and forgo those two staterooms, how much penalty would I incur? or would celebrity be so kind as to allow me to upgrade with no additional charges but just pay the price difference.

We're a party of 3 so we'll just nicely fit into the suite if allowed.

Thanks

I did something similar a few weeks ago. I upgraded our SV to a sunset Sky suite after final payment. No penalty, only the cost of the upgrade and got 75% off second passenger as per current deal so very worthwhile.

The Aqua Sky Suites on the M class ships are not very large, roughly 240 feet vs 2 regular veranda cabins give you about 340 feet and 2 bathrooms vs 1.   For comparison the Sky Suites on the S class ships are 300 feet.

Probably not.  Guessing that going from 2 cabins to 1 will be an issue.

If your cruise is outside final payment which it should be if it doesn't sail until November, as long as you don't have a nonrefundable fare on the two cabins, I would think you could make the change without penalty.  If your current cabin reservations have a nonrefundable fare, then there will be cancellation penalties to factor in.

Did the upgrade in the end with only the penalty on one of the two concierge staterooms.
