i understand there is a shared steam sauna in the locker rooms. The actual cloud 9 spa rooms need a pass. The actual cloud nine has two steam rooms, one dry salt sauna. Small pool. about 12 tiled/heated loungers and a few aroma therapy showers and one waterfall shower. Cannot forget the chilled wash clothes to cover your eyes while on the loungers!

We just booked our cruise for November on the Celebration and I can't find anywhere is there is a free sauna or do we need to purchase the thermal pass?

There's a co-ed sauna that's located behind the Cloud 9 Spa locker rooms. Although it may not seem like it the Spa locker rooms are available to everyone, even if you don't have a thermal suite pass. The locker rooms are located in the lower level of the spa. You enter the spa and turn left past the reception desk and down the stairs then walk down the hallway and the locker rooms will be on the left. There are lockers, single stall showers, toilets, sinks. At the rear of each locker room is another door where you access the coed sauna, which again is free for all passengers, and the Thermal suite if you paid for it( or you have a spa cabin). Here's a photo of the co-ed sauna on the MardiGras. It's the same on the Celebration except they correctly frosted the glass sauna door since it faces directly opposite the rear door of the women's locker room!
