mitchtech Posted May 15, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2023 Hi. On our cruise in April we were pleasantly surprised with a dozen 1 liter cartons of water in our stateroom. It didn't say anything on our confirmation that we were getting that. How would I know if we get this on our upcoming cruise in August? I heard it was given during a booking promotional period. Does anyone know the dates of the promotion booking window. Thanks
vacation44 Posted May 15, 2023 #2 Share Posted May 15, 2023 Middle of September through the middle of December if my memory is correct.
Rare Dorhead1230 Posted May 15, 2023 #3 Share Posted May 15, 2023 We had this promo for our February cruise (we won’t for our upcoming July cruise). For the February cruise, when logged into the NCL app, under My Plans where it shows all your included amenities, it did specifically list the 6 cartons of water per person. So, you may want to take a peek there.
roobqn Posted May 15, 2023 #4 Share Posted May 15, 2023 I just printed out my eDocs and was surprised to see the water added as a perk that I didn't know we had. Just looked in the app and nothing was mentioned their. But cool, i will take it.
dbrown84 Posted May 16, 2023 #5 Share Posted May 16, 2023 yeah, this was a promo last year. many people reported problems getting their free water. it seems like it was hit or miss. I book during the promo, but didn't get my water on my cruise last month. I didn't make a fuss about it since I'm able to get water from the casino bar. I just stock up on water from the casino and keep my room fridge stocked with water
BunnyHutt Posted May 16, 2023 #6 Share Posted May 16, 2023 Interesting. I noted water listed in the various promos when I received our notification for final payment for our September cruise (booked last September). I thought maybe it was something our TA added in. Who knew?!

9tee2Sea Posted May 16, 2023 #8 Share Posted May 16, 2023 when I first saw the posting title ( Water in Stateroom) I immediately thought " well that can't be a good thing". Then I found out it was about water quality. Talk about a huge let down. I was all ready to read about a big adventure. 2

Rare itsnotjustme Posted May 17, 2023 #10 Share Posted May 17, 2023 For our next cruise, a back-to-back totaling 14 days, our amenity confirmation shows my wife and I each getting 2 6-packs of 1 liter water bottles. That is 24 bottles. And we should get a bottle or two each for the Latitudes perk. It will be Greece in August; we'll need them!
Rare YVRteacher Posted May 17, 2023 #11 Share Posted May 17, 2023 @itsnotjustme my best tip for Greece in August is to pack some Ziploc freezer bags. Take a facecloth and wrap it around a couple handfuls of ice from the buffet. Put the facecloth with the ice in the Ziploc bag and take it with you off the ship. The cloth will stay super cool for hours and you can wring it out and put it on the back of your neck to cool down. (apologies for the sidetrack)
