Panoramic Akureyi excursion in Iceland

When we did this excursion in 2021, it was a panoramic tour except for the free time in the garden. We paid for a whale watching excursion in the morning and did the included one in the afternoon.

The bus drove us through town with some minor commentary as we went up to the base of a ski resort where we had a short stop to view the town.

From there we were driven to the Botanical Gardens where we had an hour? to wander at our leisure.  It was a beautiful weekend day when we were there so there were lots of locals out enjoying the park.

Thanks Clay.  So basically a coach tour but with some free time in the gardens?

BTW....Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing.  Since we are doing this cruise one week prior to you we will be sure to take good care of the Jupiter for you.  (I'll also inquire as to the Pistachio Buns on the ship)
