Strike

Hi

 

There is supposed to be a strike on June 6, affecting the airlines.  I am taking British Airways at 8:40 pm on June 6 to London and then Rome.  What are the chances that this will impact me.  I board a cruise 3 days later.

The info you posted says the strike is 04 June.

Thanks for catching that.  I leave June 4 around 8 pm to London and then Rome.  Not June 6.

There are some exceptions, but most flights from the states or Canada are overnight.  If you leave the 4th, you would be in London on the 5th.  

 

In North America when unions go on strike it is unusually until a new agreement is reached.   If Europe it is not uncommon for unions to go out for just 24 hours our sometimes even for one or two hours.  

 

If it is a one day strike I would expect them to be back at work on the 5th.
