I have been reading that most of the beaches in Mallorca and Ibiza are covered in odorous seaweed.

We will be stopping at both in August.  Are there any beaches we can count on being clean?

For the Majorcan beaches, you could try cross posting this thread on the dedicated Palma, Majorca "sticky" at the top of the Spain Ports Forum as rogerb  keeps a close on it and can give replies.

I live in front of Illetas beach and there is no sea grass on it or on any of the beaches on the S.W coast  of Majorca .
