Timeshare and cruises

The Carnival vacation Club is a sort of timeshare arrangement for cruiseline use. Also, RCI (Resort Condominium International) allows exhange of points weeks for cruises, but you have to pay an additional fee per day that makes it very costly (cheaper to save your points for a condo and pay the cruise separately)

RCI and STS also have timeshares with cruise lines. I cant see where it was a good deal to use them for a cruise when you can find great bargins on them and not pay an exchange fee plus a weekly fee to use it not counting the cost to start with.
