Westerdam Question

Does anyone know if the Westerdam cabins have safes? My mom and dad are staying in a Deluxe Verandah cabin. My mom is concerned about this and can't find it in her paperwork so I thought I'd post here for her.

Last year in a SS suite (mini) we had a safe.

Weere in a VC cabin on the Westerdam and had a safe. I think ALL cabins have them.

I've never been on a HAL ship that didn't have a safe and we've been in Verandah and Outside cabins.

I just wanted to thank y'all for your answers. My mother is very happy now!

The safe is in the last closet when looking from the entry door. You use a 4 number code each time you close it or open it. Make sure they put the code in & check to make sure it locks when they close it - we did not and found we had left the safe unlocked the first time - after that we always double checked.

It was the old ships like the old Westerdam, old Noordam and Nieuw Amsterdam that did not have safes - just locked drawers.

 

But all that has changed over the years.

 

I like the safes where you punch in your own code the best.
