Arrival time in Whittier?

We're taking the train from Denali to Whittier next month on a cruisetour. What time should we expect to be onboard?

I  believe the train arrives around 5:30ish

Pre-pandemic, the train commonly arrived approximately 6:00 or 6:30. I would recommend pushing your reservation to 7:30 to be safe.

We did this on May 24, heading to Sapphire from the Denali Princess lodge ending a 5 day Cruisetour (which was great BTW!).  Scheduled to arrive Whittier at 6:00 pm, but due to a couple delays on tracks, it was later than that.  I think 6:50 would really be iffy.

We had complimentary specialty dining for embarkation nite.  I think we ended up w an 8:00 reservation after calling Sabatini's after boarding.
