Iced out of glacier viewing?

Is this more likely to be a problem early or late in the season? We will not be going in May or Sept due to kids' school, but may consider early June or late August.

NO way to predict. There is also an element of "time", which the cpt. won't have time to get all the way to the Twin Sawyers and claim there is "too much ice". You are referring to Tracy Arm???
