Nflder71 Posted May 30, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 30, 2023 I started to look at this cruise when we got off of another Equinox cruise in April. Now looking at cabin availabilty it looks like there is not much selection left. Is this cruise selling out? Or do travel agencies have the rooms blocked off? 39august Posted May 30, 2023 #2 Share Posted May 30, 2023 Is that the last Caribbean cruise before the TA? If so, that may explain the popularity.
Nflder71 Posted May 30, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted May 30, 2023 I think it is. Why would that make it popular?
marshacruises Posted May 30, 2023 #4 Share Posted May 30, 2023 When I started looking at a September 2023 Hawaii cruise in February, I found that no suites or Aqua class cabins were available. I thought that that was odd, but then later found out that two groups are going to be on that cruise. I got the group information through the Cruise Critic Roll Call and another social media roll call. The groups get to hold onto the cabins until the final payment is due, then they will turn back in any unsold cabins because they don't want to have to pay for them. I am predicting that a number of unsold cabins will become available after the final payment is due. In fact, Celebrity is not even offering the September cruise on their website. I presume they will offer it again when they get the unsold cabins back. Best of luck with getting the cabin you want.
39august Posted May 30, 2023 #5 Share Posted May 30, 2023 Popular because that is her last Caribbean cruise until further notice. After summer in Europe, she goes to South America.
Northern Aurora Posted May 31, 2023 #6 Share Posted May 31, 2023 We are not supposed to name travel agencies, but I just looked at an online agency which lists all available staterooms on their website. I certainly didn't check all of the categories, but it didn't appear to be sold out. I wonder what stateroom category our OP is considering? If they post it, I'll check.
