Problem w/bar times & crowds?

Someone who boarded the current SL cruise posted a pic showing a crazy amount of people at the aft bar during PJ Party along with this info: Aft bar open tonight for the PJ party. Waited forever and wasted so much time waiting to be served.  Others complained that getting drinks at the bars during the day really slow.  

 

Is there a link to hours bars are open?

It will be in the app once you board.  They also have servers at the pj party that roam around getting drink orders.  Bimini is really the only place I’ve had issues w long lines

I think this is a Scarlet Lady issue due to those sailings being so full. 
no issue with service on Resilient although cocktails took a while to come out at On the Rocks.

Took a NCL cruise around Tahiti last November with the wife and another couple. Had the premium drink package and all the bars, bartenders, servers, etc. were outstanding along with the drinks they made. Been seeing a lot on the CC boards about the bad drinks, slow service and general lack of available bars for drinks. Starting to get nervous about our upcoming cruise in March 2024 on VV.

Is this the general consensus - that getting GOOD drinks in abundance, in a timely fashion is an issue on-board VV cruises?

Not really, and if you happen to get a drink you don’t like, just have them remake it or make something else and refund you the original drink.  I forget what i ordered the other day (maybe a classic mai tai or Daquiri?), either way, it was an off-menu but classic cocktail that tasted totally off.  Turns out they just didn’t put enough simple syrup in, so it threw the whole drink off.  Quick addition of simple fixed everything!
