Kilauea eruption

Wondering if anyone has up to date information on the situation regarding Kilauea? Specifically, would like to know the impact on local communities, and how everyone in the area is faring during this time.

Kalauea is not an explosive volcano, it is an effusive volcano (oozes rather than explodes). The volcano is contained in the national park, other than Vog there is no immediate danger.
