QM2 crossing on 18th August

I’m crossing on the 18th August from NYC to Southampton. Solo sailor so am hopeful to meet other solo sailors. I’ve just retired and moving back to the UK.

Ruth/Alex: I am a solo also on the 8/18th QM2. Go to the roll call page and "sign in" -as suggested above; it appears we are the only 2 solos so far. Endangered species apparently.

There is usually a Solo Travellers' Get Together each morning at 9:30AM in the Carinthia Lounge. It is also very common for solo travelers to request seating at tables of 6 or 8 ignorer to meet other passengers. Our experience is that Cunard will often put at least 2 solo trailers at these tables.

I know I’ve cruised Cunard before. Thank you so much for the information, it’s so nice how people look out for everyone on CC. It’s my first time joining CC.

I'll be "solo-ish". I am traveling with a group from my dance school and have a room mate that I have met once and don't know well. I'll be spending some time with the school for practice and I believe we have dinner together in the evening seating wise but outside that, I am on my own.
