Zadar help

Hi.

We are going on Azura in August and one of the ports is Zadar, and we don't fancy the P&O excursions. Can anybody give me a little information regarding things to do in this city and how easy it is to get there from the port?

We took ship’s shuttle that takes you to the island promontory and drops you off at the large circular pool. Nearby are the singing steps. We walked around this promontory with its Venetian architecture and found it very interesting.

I agree. No need to do anything. Just have a wander around. Then sit by the prom listening to the sea organ. Very relaxing.

Large interesting open air market.  Yacht marina.  Wander round, find somewhere to sit and have drink or snack.  Lovely place.

There is a decent beach too but a decent walk from the shuttle bus drop off point, particularly in the Aug heat. We gave up and just looked around instead
