Ur Comped: MSC cruises

I have an independent land based casino host who has gotten me comped balconies on Celebrity.  I reached out to him to see if he could help me get a comped cruise on MSC but I have not heard back from him. In the meantime I heard about UR Comped. Anyone with experience with them for MSC sailings? If I upload my info online with them directly will that preclude my independent host from trying to get me an offer? Anyone know?  I joined the RCCL casino program before I met my independent host and since I was already a ranked player with RCCL casino club, he cant help me with that line and I have to go directly through the cruise line casino program. In light of that, I’m concerned that if I upload my info to UR Comped, ill be precluded from then having my host try to get a better offer.

another question: Does anyone have an independent host that you can recommend? I like my host but communication and response time is an issue. Thanks!!

Stick with a host for the best results. As with Royal, once you enroll in a "program" you are exclusive property of the program and cannot use a host...

MSC is very open about what you need to earn for a comp and will gladly honor your play (also no 1099's on MSC)

We will be doing our 4th & 5th cruise using ur comped in Aug & Oct and have been pleasantly pleased so far.  It doesn’t cost a penny to submit your information to ur comped so worth the effort.  I suspect that the first offer will be lower until you Cruised once with ur comped and establish some history.

We have used them and have an upcoming cruise booked on Celebrity Equinox using a casino offer from Carnival.  My understanding is that once you upload your offer to the platform, they take over and find you a comp on the requested cruise line.  I haven't requested this for MSC yet but I can tell you that we also have a cruise in August on MSC Seaside from a casino comp.  It's in the YC and we got a very good deal.  Additionally, we earned a "free" cruise on our last Seaside cruise based on casino play.  However, the voucher never showed up on our stateroom door and by debarkation day it was too late.  If you earn a voucher on MSC make sure it gets delivered to you before you disembark.

I know I got a little off topic...sorry.

I was wondering what type of comp you used that you were able to get YC? Was it fully comped or did you get a discount to upgrade? I usually get offers for balconies on Royal and Celebrity. If I called the MSC casino directly would they offer me a comp even though I never cruised with them before or do I need to go through an independent casino host or through URcomped? If you know. Thanks

This is why I always find the host the last night and get my certificate from them directly.

We did not use URComped for the MSC cruise for August. I used a 30% off voucher from previous casino play on Meraviglia. At the time, I was able to book YC using the voucher via my TA and stack that with the 5% discount from Voyager’s club. My understanding now is that you have to book through the casino in order to use the voucher for YC. Since we didn’t get our free cruise voucher on our most recent cruise, I haven’t tried. Whatever you do, if you earn a voucher while on board do as @Paphillyguy has said and see the casino host. Don’t rely on it just showing up on your door like it’s supposed to.

Also, the “free cruise” voucher that I didn’t receive was for an ocean view stateroom. My guess is that if I wanted to use it toward YC then I would only receive the value of that category in the form of a discount off the YC price. That’s my guess but I don’t know for sure.
