omahabob Posted June 20, 2023 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2023 Has anyone ever started and/or ended their Haven cruise at the Pan American terminal in San Juan? We have a Viva Cruise booked in March, and it begins/ends in San Juan. From what very few pictures I've seen, it's pretty much an entirely outdoor terminal, other than being covered, and some passenger processing appears to occur totally outdoors. I was wondering if anyone could share their embarkation/debarkation experience at this terminal. I also assume there's no dedicated area for Haven passengers like there is in places like Miami, so please correct me if I'm wrong there.
calcruiser64 Posted June 20, 2023 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2023 We embarked in SJ for a repositioning cruise on the Epic to NYC this spring. We arrived early and, after asking, were quickly directed to an indoor Haven waiting area. It's not anything special, but it is indoors and out of the heat. Mention Haven when you arrive and staff should get you to the right place.

vacation44 Posted June 20, 2023 #4 Share Posted June 20, 2023 Yes, we did this past March. When you arrive, go all the way to the right. That is where the Haven entrance is into the building. They will check your paperwork outside the building, take your luggage and then let you in. As @calcruiser64stated, there is nothing special about the Haven seating area other than being in your own area.
